Jon Moxley – MRSA and Surgery Update

AEW superstar Jon Moxley basically known for his WWE name as Dean Ambrose, who leaves the WWE company and now he joins All Elite Wrestling company. AEW gives freedom to their wrestlers. So, it is very good Dean Ambrose but seems like things gone a little bit wrong as he is dealing with Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). It is a bacterium that causes infections in different parts of the body.

Yesterday Wrestling observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that Jon Moxley is dealing with an elbow injury and it could be an infection. He still worked shows over the weekend but did tag matches and he didn’t take any elbow bumps in his singles match against Pentagon Jr.

Jon Moxley still hasn’t got his first official match in the AEW company. Things got worse as he has to wait for more for his first official match in AEW. The Lunatic Jon Moxley informed the fans that he needs an MRSA surgery and he expected to miss his match at All Out on August 31st. But our champion Jon Moxley did promise to be back and 100% for AEW’s TNT debut on October 2nd.

I’m absolutely gutted to have to deliver this news but I’d rather it come directly from me. In a nightmare scenario, a serious case of MRSA has returned in my elbow. The timing couldn’t be worse. In this circumstance I am forced to pull out of the fight 8/31 vs Omega at All Out .

I apologize to all involved, most importantly the fans. I am incredibly frustrated and pissed off. I’ll have surgery this week to remove the bursa sac in my elbow and be done with it for good. Should be a quick recovery so I will be 100% for AEW Wednesday nights on TNT.

Still, I expect All out to be an amazing ppv and hope all the fans out there looking for an alternative tune in. You will be blown away by AEW and be excited to be a wrestling fan. I’m looking forward to watching as a fan myself

This is a piece of heart-breaking news for Jon Moxley aka. Dean Ambrose fans. We will miss a very good match between Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley. Below is the official tweet from Jon Moxley.
