The first ever WWE Stomping Grounds 2019 PPV from the Tacoma Dome closed with RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Universal Champion Seth Rollins standing tall in the ring. Becky Lynch helped Seth Rollins to win the Universal Championship match against Baron Corbin. Becky Lynch cleared the Special Guest Referee Lacey Evans for Seth Rollins.

One title change from the PPV was Richochet winning the WWE United Staes Championship from Samoa Joe. SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Rowan, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston successfully defended their titles.

Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington was not sold out for the event. The arena also had half of the seating curtained off to hide the empty seats. Despite the low attendance, one topic on social media coming out of the event was how hot the crowd ended up being.
